Qianwen Xiang, Di Wu

Abstract

Bronchiectasis is a chronic respiratory disease characterized by persistent cough, copious sputum production, and recurrent
respiratory infections, significantly impacting patients quality of life. Family rehabilitation plays a crucial role in symptom management
through specific measures such as respiratory training, sputum management, and medication management, as well as multifaceted support
from family members and society, effectively improving patients quality of life and rehabilitation outcomes. Psychological health management also plays an important auxiliary role throughout the rehabilitation process. This article explores symptom management strategies
for bronchiectasis patients based on family rehabilitation, aiming to provide comprehensive, individualized, and continuous rehabilitation
plans for patients.
