Research Progress on Nursing Complications of Colostomy

Abstract


This article reviews the latest research advancements in colostomy complication care, covering preoperative assessment and education, intraoperative management, postoperative complication care, and continuous nursing. Through multidisciplinary collaboration, precise
localization, application of novel dressings, and information management technologies, the incidence of complications has been effectively
reduced while improving patients' quality of life. The study emphasizes the importance of personalized care, cultivation of patient self-management capabilities, and psychological support, providing scientific evidence for clinical nursing practices.
