Application and Mechanism Study of Du Meridian Electroacupuncture in Spinal Cord Injury
Abstract
Qi and blood and improves circulation by stimulating acupoints on the Du Meridian, and promotes spinal cord repair through a multi-target
mechanism. It has clear effects in inhibiting cell apoptosis, regulating neuroinflammation, and activating neurotrophic pathways. In particular,
combined with rehabilitation training, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and other comprehensive treatments, it can significantly improve patients'
motor and sensory functions and quality of life. However, this therapy still faces challenges such as insufficient clinical evidence, incomplete
understanding of the mechanism, and lack of parameter standardization. Future research should promote multi-center studies to achieve its
standardization and widespread application.
