Progress in Treatment of Chronic Viral Hepatitis C with Traditional Chinese Medicine

Abstract


Chronic viral hepatitis C is an infectious disease that seriously endangers human health. At present, there are some limitations in
the treatment of western medicine. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has a unique theory and rich practical experience in treating chronic
hepatitis C, and has made a lot of progress in recent years. In this paper, the etiology and pathogenesis of chronic viral hepatitis C and the
treatment methods of traditional Chinese medicine (including compound Chinese medicine, single Chinese medicine, acupuncture and massage, etc.) are discussed, aiming at providing reference for the treatment of chronic viral hepatitis C with traditional Chinese medicine.
