Application of the Nursing 1+1 Model Based on the "21- Day Habit Formation" Approach to Enhance Proactive Services by Ward Nurses
Abstract
service ability of ward nurses. Methods: A total of 200 inpatients from the Cardiology and Nephrology Department of a tertiary hospital in
Zhejiang Province were selected as the study subjects and divided into a control group (January to March, n=100) and an observation group
(April to June, n=100) based on the admission quarter. The control group received conventional nursing care, while the observation group was
additionally provided with the "21-Day Habit Formation" based nursing 1+1 model. Core indicators such as nursing quality, patient satisfaction, and incidence of adverse events were compared between the two groups. Results: The observation group demonstrated significantly
better performance in terms of nursing quality, patient satisfaction, incidence of adverse events, and length of hospital stay compared to the
control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The nursing 1+1 model has significant effects on enhancing nurses' proactive service ability and service
quality, improving patients' experience, and promoting continuous upgrading of ward nursing services.
