Yue Ding, Zhun Lin, Ruoshui Sun

Abstract

Against the backdrop of the Internet era, interpersonal communication barriers among college students exhibit a complex interplay
of cognitive biases and behavioral avoidance, which has become a core issue in mental health education in higher education institutions.
Based on recent empirical research, this paper examines the core causes and manifestations of interpersonal communication barriers among
college students, and constructs a stratified intervention system from the perspectives of individuals, groups, and the environment. It proposes
counseling strategies that integrate cognitive-behavioral techniques, innovative group counseling forms, and the improvement of peer support
systems, aiming to provide practical path references for mental health education in colleges and universities.
