Clinical Efficacy of Warm Vertical Compaction Obturation in the Treatment of Pulpitis and Its Impact on Patients' Masticatory Function
Abstract
on patients' masticatory function. A total of 80 patients with pulpitis admitted to our hospital from November 2024 to November 2025 were
enrolled and randomly divided into two groups by lottery. The control group (n=40) received cold lateral condensation obturation, while the
observation group (n=40) received warm vertical compaction obturation, and the therapeutic effects were analyzed accordingly. The results
showed that the clinical efficacy and masticatory function indicators in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control
group (P<0.05). In conclusion, warm gutta-percha obturation for pulpitis treatment demonstrates high effectiveness and can improve patients'
masticatory function, showing remarkable therapeutic effects that warrant clinical promotion.
