A Field Research Study on the Folk Traditions of the Turks in Hejing County

Abstract


This is a field research on traditional music, which mainly focuses on the Turks in Hejing County, Xinjiang, and records their traditional life through fieldwork, interviews, and review of literature, etc. In the field research, with the historical development as the main line,
it summarizes the living customs, historical traditions, and musical culture of the Turks after their return to the east, and analyzes the significance of the return and the spirit of the return, which plays an important role in defending the frontier, building the frontier, inheriting Chinese
excellent traditional culture, and exchanging and integrating various ethnic groups. They have played an important role in defending the frontier, building the frontier, inheriting the excellent traditional Chinese culture and exchanging and mingling of various nationalities. From the
perspective of historical development, the event of the return of the Turks to the east has accumulated into a precious historical and cultural
heritage, which has continuously forged the sense of community of the Chinese nation.
