Research on the Reform of Classroom Teaching Management in Small Classes from the Perspective of High-Quality Educational Development

Ao Shen

Abstract

High-quality educational development requires classroom management to focus on students' real growth rather than only teaching
schedules. Small-class instruction supports close observation, differentiated guidance, active interaction, and formative assessment. Yet some
schools reduce class size without changing large-class teaching routines, leaving these advantages underused. This article examines the value,
principles, and practical paths of small-class classroom management reform. It proposes a student-centered framework based on coordinated
teaching and management, flexible grouping, tiered support, interactive organization, and process evaluation to improve management precision and classroom effectiveness.
