Abstract


Non-verbal communication has played a vital role in English learning and teaching. The essay includes both-sides debates, complicated
issues in different cultures and countries and constructive recommendations related to the specific learning and teaching contexts. Although
non-verbal communication has some problems to apply, there are still more constructive recommendations to benefit language learning
greatly in the future.
