The arrival of the new era has brought the rapid development of society and science and technology, and promoted the significant
improvement of productivity and social efficiency. At the same time, the process of globalization promotes the close connection between
economy, culture and politics, and the collision and integration of diverse cultures has become the new normal. In this context, as the builders
of the future of the society, the innovation of ideological and political education is particularly critical. Through the analysis of the characteristics and social needs of college students in the new era, this paper puts forward the innovative path in the content, method and environment of
