Abstract

As the core force driving national development and rejuvenation, the safety education management of college students has always
been a key link in the higher education system. The Party and the state have always placed safety education for young college students in an
important position, explicitly requiring universities to make safety education for college students a compulsory course, ensuring that the
course content is complete, the teaching implementation is in place, and the credit system is sound, so as to play a core role in the safety and
stability of university campuses and the comprehensive development of college students. This article explores how to innovate the safety
education model for college students in the context of the new era, in order to improve the quality and effectiveness of education, strengthen
the overall national security awareness of college students, cultivate their risk response ability, create a healthy campus safety culture environment, and consolidate the defense line of universities in the field of ideology, which has significant practical significance.
