Abstract


Digital empowerment is a product of the deep integration of information technology and education, bringing profound changes to the field of education. Digital empowerment in college English courses refers not only to the digitalization of teaching methods
and resources but also to a comprehensive transformation of teaching philosophy, methods, and evaluation approaches. Digital empowerment is an important part of the reform of ideological and political education in college English courses. It introduces digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data analysis, and cloud computing into curriculum reform, teaching method reform, and the
construction of assessment systems, which has significant practical importance. Applying digital empowerment to education and teaching can not only improve teaching efficiency but also promote students autonomous learning and enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education.
