The Relationship Between Mindfulness and English Learning Effectiveness: A Study on the Mediating Role of Self-efficacy

Abstract


This study employs a quantitative analysis to explore the relationship between mindfulness, self-efficacy, and English learning effectiveness among Chinese college students. A sample of 80 non-English major students was surveyed, and the findings reveal a significant
relationship between mindfulness and English learning effectiveness, with self-efficacy playing a complete mediating role in this process. This
study increases understanding about mindfulness and its mechanism in foreign language learning, and has implications for foreign language
teaching.
