The Influence of Class Bullying Norms on the Bystander Behavior of Junior High School Students: The Mediating Role of Moral Disengagement

Abstract


In order to explore the relationship between class bullying norms, moral disengagement and bystanders assistants, outsider behaviors in school bullying, this study conducted a questionnaire survey on 400 junior high school students. The results show that: (1) class bullying norms and moral disengagement positively predict the bystanders assistants and outsider behaviors in the face of bullying; (2) moral
disengagement plays an mediating role in class bullying norms and bystanders assistants, outsider behaviors.
