Case Practice Exploration and Educational Value Mining of Higher Mathematics in Chemical Engineering Specialty

Abstract


Higher mathematics plays an important fundamental role in chemical engineering. This study explores the educational value of the
combination of higher mathematics and chemical engineering. Starting from the history of mathematics, such as ancient Chinese mathematics
achievements can enhance students cultural self-confidence; In mathematical concepts, the limit concept guides thinking about life philosophy, and the derivative concept cultivates innovative thinking. In terms of mathematical methods, the micro-element method embodies the
spirit of craftsman, and mathematical modeling cultivates the spirit of teamwork. Integrating these cases into teaching will help to cultivate the
scientific spirit, innovation ability, professional ethics and social responsibility of chemical students, realize the organic unity of knowledge
and value guidance, and lay a solid foundation for cultivating high-quality chemical talents.
