Research on Ecological Teaching Method of College English

Abstract

Against the backdrop of globalization and informatization, college English teaching faces unprecedented challenges and opportunities. With the increasing of international exchanges, the status of English as a global lingua franca is becoming more prominent, which sets
higher demands on college students English proficiency. However, traditional teaching models often only focus on the memorization of grammar and vocabulary, neglecting the ecological and practical aspects of language learning, leading to students difficulty in flexibly applying
their knowledge in actual communication. In this context, it is particularly important to explore the new path of university English teaching
from an ecological perspective.
