Research on the Value Guidance Path of College Students Under the Horizon of the Algorithm Recommendation

Abstract

With the development of Internet technology, the algorithm recommendation system has become an important part of the major
information platforms. By analyzing user behavior data, these systems intelligently recommend information that conforms to users interests,
but they also cause problems such as information cocoon room and cognitive bias, especially affecting the value shaping of college students.
It is of great significance to study the path of value guidance for college students recommended by the algorithm. This paper summarizes the
basic composition of the algorithm recommendation system and its importance in the modern Internet, analyzes its influence on the values of
college students, and proposes to guide college students to form correct values through personalized recommendation, diversified information
supply, information literacy education and social practice. Universities, the government and all sectors of society should work together to create favorable conditions for the healthy growth of college students.
