Review, Analysis and Evaluation of the French ImmigrationLaw Reform-- Taking the presidencies of Sarkozy, Hollande and Macron as examples
Abstract
The rise of far-right parties in European countries has further tightened European immigration policies. In recent years, French
politics has continued to turn right, and immigration has become an important issue in French politics. After four waves of immigration, the
social structure of the French population has shown multi-ethnic characteristics. Ethnic conflicts, violent riots, and immigrant identity recognition have continued to plague immigration governance. This article focuses on the reform of major immigration bills during the three French
presidents Sarkozy, Hollande and Macron, pays attention to the adjustments and changes in the immigration integration policy of the new
French government, and evaluates the difficulties and challenges of implementing immigration policies.
