Abstract
With economic and social progress, the development of chemical industry is facing new challenges, so great demands are needed
for innovation and entrepreneurship education in universities to cultivate new type of talents. In this paper, current situation of innovation and
entrepreneurship education of chemical engineering was analyzed under the background of development and reformation of higher education.
The innovation and entrepreneurship education of chemical engineering at Qilu University of Technology was then taken as an example, so
that an integrated personnel training model of experience - exploration - output was proposed to explore suitable way according to the development of chemical industry, which would provide template for improving the cultivation of high-quality talents in chemical engineering.
