The Current Situation and Improvement Strategies of College Teachers Awareness of Laws and Regulations

Abstract


With the continuous development of the rule-of-law society, the legal awareness of university teachers is increasingly becoming
a key factor in educational quality and social trust. This paper analyzes the current status of legal awareness among university teachers, revealing deficiencies in legal knowledge acquisition, practical application, and the popularization of legal education, and proposes targeted
improvement strategies. The article argues that enhancing legal awareness among university teachers should be achieved through multiple
measures such as strengthening the curriculum for legal education, fostering a culture of the rule of law, improving the practicality of training,
and perfecting legal consultation mechanisms, thereby systematically raising the legal awareness of university teachers to effectively adhere to
legal frameworks in teaching, academic research, and student management, promoting the legalization process of higher education.
