The Promotion of Language Learning Investment in International Secondary Schools in China

Abstract


This essay explores the emergence of international schools in China, emphasizing their role in challenging the traditional examoriented education system and promoting learners identities. Drawing on existing theories, the research highlights the importance of creating
a comfortable learning environment and designing teaching content that fosters diverse identities. The essay also proposes ways to promote
students language learning investment, including cultivating interest, fostering identity construction, and equipping students with necessary
skills. Based on the analysis, it is concluded that international schools serve as models for educational reform by prioritizing practice and
identity construction in language education.
