Legal/Official, Social and Educational Situation of Languages Spoken in Nepal

Abstract


As the raising awareness of considering language no longer just a tool for communicating and prospering but also a vital role in
representing authentic self, culture and identity, the human right to ones mother tongue languages in policy making and education development has became a crucial factor. Nepal, a country that historically has been the hybrid land of various culture and groups that speak different
languages, shows its ongoing evolution to an equitable and inclusive country that tries to embraces multilingualism and multiculturalism.
