Artificial Intelligence Empowering Primary Education Teaching Reform: Key Supports and Practical Pathways

Jingjing He

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence is progressively reshaping the global landscape of basic education. Its application in primary education not
only promotes personalized learning, enhances teaching efficiency, and balances resource distribution but also provides new pathways for
advancing educational equity and quality. This study begins with the core supportive roles of technological empowerment and analyzes
the challenges faced by AI in primary education reform, including ethical risks, cognitive inertia, digital divides, and teacher role transitions. Based on these challenges, this paper proposes pathways such as establishing an ethical technology governance system, constructing
human-machine collaborative teaching models, promoting infrastructure universalization, and optimizing AI educational content design.
These measures aim to continuously improve the quality of primary education, offering theoretical and practical references for global educational reform.
