Curriculum Design for Project-Driven Teaching: An Example of Electrical Control and Programmable Controller

Abstract


Electrical Control and Programmable Controller is an important specialized course for automation and mechanical design and
automation related majors. It integrates the traditional relay control system with computer technology and communication technology,
which has a wide knowledge coverage and involves many characteristics. The traditional teaching method is based on classroom teaching,
supplemented by experiments, the teaching process is boring, abstract content, practical so that classroom teaching is more monotonous, it
is difficult to mobilize the enthusiasm of students to learn, which leads to the teaching effect is not ideal; experiments are mainly students
in accordance with the requirements of the experimental guidebook to produce validation results, there are bound to be a lot of problems.
Based on this, the following project-driven teaching curriculum design - Electrical Control and Programmable Controller as an example
for discussion, for reference.
