Research on the Beautiful Risks of Interdisciplinary Education in Primary and Secondary Schools

Ting Zhou

Abstract

In the era of rapid development of the global knowledge economy, the goals of education have shifted from emphasizing the mastery of knowledge and skills to fostering comprehensive qualities and innovative abilities, making the importance of interdisciplinary education increasingly prominent. However, during the implementation of interdisciplinary education in primary and secondary schools, risks often
arise at both the conceptual and practical levels, collectively constituting the beautiful risks of interdisciplinary education. To transcend
these risks, it is necessary to shift teachers perspectives while grounding in disciplines, integrate curriculum resources to break traditional
boundaries, deepen teaching objectives toward competency orientation, and strengthen diverse collaborations to promote the integration of
teaching and research, thereby enhancing the quality of interdisciplinary education and the effectiveness of holistic education.
