Through an in-depth analysis of the courses background, teaching practices, educational outcomes, and challenges, it examines the feasibility and significance of incorporating regional traditional sports into vocational education. The research aims to provide valuable insights for advancing physical education reform in vocational
colleges, preserving local cultural heritage, and enhancing students comprehensive competencies.
