Research on Digital Technology Empowering Translation Course Teaching

Chang Liu

Abstract

This paper examines the existing problems in current university translation teaching and proposes effective pathways for digital
technology to empower university translation course teaching from five dimensions: translation competence, translation course teaching content, translation course teaching methods, translation faculty, and student translators. It suggests that universities should closely integrate their
regional advantages and institutional characteristics to design translation courses that meet local needs, which will not only help improve student translators' translation skills but also lay a solid foundation for cultivating high-level translation talents.
