Shengping Li

Abstract

This paper focuses on classical piano music in China, delving into its unique aesthetic value. By tracing the development of classical piano music in China, the study examines it from three dimensions: artistic conception, formal beauty, and cultural beauty. Through specific musical works, it elaborates on the aesthetic connotations embedded in its creation, performance, and listening experiences. The research
reveals that classical Chinese piano music not only inherits the essence of traditional Chinese culture but also integrates Western piano art
forms. In the fusion of Eastern and Western cultures, it demonstrates unique aesthetic appeal, which holds significant importance for promoting the dissemination of Chinese music culture and enriching the global musical heritage.
