Advancing Smart-Digital Literacy in the AI Era: AI-TPACK-Based Insights from Vocational Education in Hainan Free Trade Port, China

Abstract


The deep integration of artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping the vocational education ecosystem, with intelligent digital literacy
emerging as a core dimension in teacher capacity development. Grounded in the AI-TPACK framework, this study systematically examines
path dependence and breakthrough strategies for vocational education's digital transformation within the Free Trade Port context. By deconstructing the integration mechanisms among technological knowledge, instructional strategies, and industry demands, we propose a threedimensional model for cultivating intelligent literacy in vocational education. This model encompasses educational scenario innovation, technological cognitive leapfrogging, and collaborative evolution between industry and education. The research aims to provide methodological
support for building a distinctive vocational education system in Free Trade Ports while establishing practical paradigms for AI-driven educational transformation.
