Exploration of Integrating Labor Education into Environmental Art Major in Higher Vocational Colleges
Abstract
education. The Environmental Art Design program (EAD) at higher vocational colleges, with its core focus on "practical creation, " aligns
perfectly with labor education's objectives of "hands-on practice and value shaping." This study examines the necessity and core value of
integrating labor education into EAD programs, identifies challenges such as "formalism in labor education, disconnect from professional curricula, and inadequate evaluation systems, " and proposes concrete strategies through four dimensions: curriculum restructuring, innovative
teaching models, practical platform development, and optimized evaluation mechanisms. The aim is to establish an educational system that
synergistically develops professional skills and labor literacy, providing a reference for cultivating high-quality technical professionals who
possess both environmental design capabilities and a work ethic.
