An Interactive Integration Model between Aesthetic Education and Environmental Art Design Curricula in Colleges and Universities

Yingying Huang

Abstract

With the deepening of educational reform in the new era, aesthetic education in colleges and universities has moved from the periphery to the core and has become an important link in cultivating all-round developed talents. This paper takes environmental art design as
an example to explore the interactive mechanisms between aesthetic education curriculum and specialized curriculum, proposes to construct
an integration model of "mutual integration of goals, mutual embedding of content, mutual promotion of instructional methods, and interconnection of assessment methods", and demonstrates the dual value of the interdisciplinary curriculum system of aesthetic education in enhancing students' aesthetic literacy and professional ability by analyzing the current situation of inadequate integration to provide a referenceable
path for similar institutions.
