Research on the Cultivation Path of Vocational Core Competencies for Engineering Cost "Order-Based Class" Students from the Perspective of Industry-Education Integration

Meijiu Zhao, Xiaochun Zhao, Junjie Huang

Abstract

Supported by the theory of industry-education integration, this paper defines the core components of vocational core competencies
for engineering cost "order-based class" students, including professional ethics, specialized skills, innovative thinking, collaborative ability, and lifelong learning capacity. It systematically analyzes the current practical issues in the cultivation of vocational core competencies in
"order-based classes, " such as superficial school-enterprise cooperation, disconnection between the curriculum system and job requirements,
lagging development of "dual-qualified" teaching staff, and a singular evaluation system. Based on this, the study proposes specific pathways
for cultivating vocational core competencies among engineering cost "order-based class" students from the perspective of industry-education
integration, focusing on five dimensions: constructing collaborative mechanisms, optimizing the curriculum system, building practical platforms, strengthening teaching staff, and improving the evaluation system. The aim is to provide theoretical reference and practical insights for
enhancing the quality of talent cultivation in "order-based classes" and promoting the reform of talent supply in the construction industry.
