Innovative Paths for University Student Management in the New Media Era

Abstract


With the widespread application of new media technologies, the learning and living conditions of university student groups have undergone tremendous changes. As the backbone force accompanying and managing student growth, counselors must enhance their new media
literacy and innovate student management methods according to the characteristics of the new media era. This paper takes university student
management work in the new media era as its starting point, analyzes the problems faced by current university student management work,
such as the fragmentation of information dissemination, singular management methods, and diverse student demands, and proposes innovative
approaches including constructing online-offline integrated interaction mechanisms, utilizing big data analysis for precise assistance, innovating online ideological and political education models, and establishing social media crisis early warning systems. The aim is to promote the
digital transformation of university student management work and enhance the management level and service quality.
