Abstract


Against the backdrop of the digital age, secondary school students engagement with public issues has become a crucial arena for
cultivating youth citizenship. As a core enabling competency, digital literacy increasingly influences the quality of such participation. This
study aims to enrich theoretical insights into youth citizenship education and digital literacy development in the digital era, providing academic foundations and practical guidance for promoting rational youth engagement with public issues and fostering well-rounded civic character
within secondary education.
