Chunyang Ma

Abstract

With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence technology, AI-assisted writing has been increasingly adopted in higher education, particularly in applied writing instruction. This study explores practical applications of AI-assisted writing in academic writing pedagogy,
analyzes potential ethical risks, and proposes corresponding teaching strategies. Research indicates that while AI serves as a powerful writing
aid, its implementation also entails ethical concerns such as academic misconduct and over-reliance on writing tools. Therefore, universities
should implement well-designed teaching strategies to guide students in the responsible use of AI writing tools, thereby fostering healthy development in academic writing practices.
