Teaching Model for Cultivating Innovative Capabilities of Design Students Driven by Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC)
Abstract
transformation opportunity. The integration of AIGC not only transforms design expression modalities but also furnishes novel technological
pathways for cultivating students' innovative capabilities. This study focuses on design disciplines as the research subject, analyzes the value
and limitations of AIGC in creative generation, expression training, and design thinking cultivation, thereby establishing a "Perception ?
Generation ? Validation ? Expression" teaching model for innovative capability development. This model can effectively promote students'
innovative consciousness, visual conceptualization capability and expression integration capability, and advance classrooms to transform from
skill-oriented to innovation-driven. On this basis, this study proposes that in the reform of design education, attention should be paid to digital
literacy development and teacher role reconfiguration and assessment system optimization, offering a reference framework for innovating
teaching models in design disciplines during the AIGC era.
