of application-oriented universities and the growth needs of college students, this paper delves into the educational value of student management in ideological and political education, practical ability cultivation, and personality development. It identifies the main problems existing
in current student management work and proposes optimization pathways, including improving student self-management mechanisms, fostering a culture-driven educational ecology, and constructing an informatized management model. The aim is to provide references for enhancing
the scientific nature and effectiveness of student management in application-oriented universities.
