The Enlightenment of Private School Education on Contemporary Primary School Composition Teaching

Meirong Kuang

Abstract

Private schools were basic educational institutions in ancient Chinese society and have made an indelible contribution to the development of education in China. This paper aims to systematically examine the specific manifestations of "freedom" and "discipline" in the
composition teaching of private schools, analyze the importance of both in composition learning, and explore their reference value for contemporary primary school composition teaching. Through this research, we hope to rediscover the wisdom of traditional education for contemporary Chinese language teaching, thereby improving the efficiency of primary school composition classroom instruction.
