Ziyue Mao

Abstract

Empowering ideological and political education in colleges and universities with digital technology is an inevitable requirement
for advancing the high-quality development of such education in response to the trends of the times. The integration of digital technology
facilitates the innovation of teaching models, the upgrading of educational resources, and the precision of educational objectives. However,
in the process of applying digital technology, challenges such as the superficial use of digital tools, the imbalance in the supply of digital
content, and the need for enhanced digital literacy have emerged. These issues call for continuous improvement in the capacity and effectiveness of digital technology in empowering ideological and political education through pathways such as strengthening top-level design
and institutional frameworks, optimizing content supply and innovating teaching models, and enhancing the digital literacy of all stakeholders involved.
