Integrating Artificial Intelligence into Environmental Art Design Education to Enhance Creative Expression

Kaili Zhang

Abstract

Environmental Art Design is a discipline characterized by the integration of aesthetic creativity and practical application, with
creative expression serving as a crucial manifestation of students core competencies. Traditional Environmental Art Design education faces
challenges such as insufficient stimulation of creativity, monotonous modes of expression, and difficulties in practical implementation. These
issues hinder its ability to meet industry demands for versatile design professionals. The rapid development of AI technology provides a new
pathway to addressing this challenge. AI demonstrates significant advantages in ideation, visualization, and solution refinement. These capa
bilities effectively address the shortcomings of traditional teaching methods. Based on the actual situation of Environmental Art Design educa
tion, this paper deeply explores the application value and existing problems of AI in enhancing studentscreative expression, and proposes ac
tionable application strategies. Grounded in the real-world teaching scenarios, it provides practical reference for the reform of Environmental
Art Design education, and catalyzes students to enhance both the depth and breadth of their creative expression, forging an organic integration
between creativity and practical application.
