Integrating Ideological and Political Education into Medicinal Plant Cultivation through the "MedicineAgriculture" Model

macy programs, possesses substantial potential for ideological and political education; however, it currently faces challenges including stu
dents' limited interest in agricultural careers. Guided by national educational policies, this study presents a case study at Hunan University of
Medicine, exploring the integration of ideological and political education through the innovative "MedicineAgriculture" convergence model.
Through literacy enhancement, interdisciplinary team building, curriculum integration, diversified pedagogical methods, and assessment op
timization, this reform has significantly enhanced students' professional competencies and ideological awareness. Quantitative results demon
strate that 95.46% of students reported enhanced professional confidence and examination scores rose 14.53% year-on-year. Future initiatives
will focus on refining the ideological education framework and fostering inter-institutional collaboration.
