Empirical Study on Enhancing Students' Practical Application Competencies through Case-based Teaching in Economics and Finance Courses

Abstract


Economics and Finance disciplines integrate theory and practice. Traditional lecture-based learning fails to meet the needs of culti
vating students' practical application competencies. Case-based teaching has become an important pathway to addressing this challenge. This
paper anchors in the teaching realities of Economics and Finance courses, explores the application logic and practical value of case-based
teaching through empirical analysis, analyzes its role in enhancing students' practical competencies such as financial problem analysis, practical
decision-making, and knowledge transformation, clarifies the core issues in current application, and proposes targeted optimization strategies,
aiming to provide practical reference for the teaching reform in Economics and Finance courses and the cultivation of students'practical literacy.
