Construction and Operational Mechanisms of Maritime Education Practical Training Bases within the Industry-Education Integration Framework

Yuanbao Li, Guoguang Lu

Abstract

Maritime education is an inherently practice-intensive discipline. Practical training teaching is the core bridge between theoreti
cal knowledge and maritime role requirements. Industry-education integration serves as the key pathway to addressing shortage of maritime
practical training resources and disconnection between teaching and the maritime industry. This paper anchors in the policy orientation of
industry-education integration and the development needs of the maritime industry, focuses on the current challenges in the construction of
maritime education practical training bases, and deeply explores the core construction pathways and long-term operational mechanisms of
the bases. Grounded in the disciplinary characteristics of maritime, it clarifies the construction direction from three dimensions: construction
positioning, resource integration, and intension development, and improves the operational system from three tiers: collaborative mechanism,
management mechanism, and safeguard mechanism, aiming to achieve precision alignment between the practical training bases and the role
requirements of maritime enterprises, improve the quality of maritime talent cultivation, and provide practical reference for the deep industry
education integration in maritime education.
