Qi Wang

Abstract

The rapid development of digital information technology is transforming the ecosystem of exhibition design and talent demands.
The traditional teaching model of exhibition design in higher education has failed to meet the demands of the industry for versatile and in
novative professionals. Based on digital transformation, this paper first analyzes the development status of the exhibition design industry
and the actual situation of university teaching, then discusses the main challenges in the current teaching system, and proposes improvement
suggestions from four dimensions: curriculum setting, teaching methods, practical training base construction, and faculty cultivation, aiming
to achieve synchronous development of university exhibition design education and industrial evolution, cultivate applied talents with digital
literacy, innovation capabilities and practical competencies, and provide insights for exhibition design teaching reform in higher education.
