Digital Empowerment and Smart Practices: An Exploration into the Establishment of a Digital and Intelligent Practice Base for Vocational Undergraduate Financial Talents

Abstract


The digital economy is driving the financial industry toward accelerated digital and intelligent transformation. However, the cultivation of financial professionals at the vocational undergraduate level faces significant challenges, including lagging practical application scenarios, insufficient integration of virtual and real-world environments, weak industry-education collaboration, and inadequate application of
digital and intelligent technologies. Grounded in the positioning of vocational undergraduate institutions as providers of high-level technical
and skilled talent, and centered on digital empowerment and intelligent practice, this paper proposes a framework for establishing digital-intelligent practice bases. It clarifies the construction approach, functional modules, operational mechanisms, and support systems, while exploring
practice-oriented education pathways tailored to emerging fintech models. The findings offer valuable insights for vocational undergraduate
institutions to enhance the quality of financial talent cultivation and deepen industry-education integration.
