Evaluating the Efficacy of Case-based Teaching in the Corporate Finance Course within Higher Education
Abstract
a strong duality of theoretical depth and practical applicability. The traditional lecture-based learning cannot meet the teaching requirements of
this course. Case-based teaching uses authentic enterprise cases for teaching, linking abstract corporate finance theories with specific production and business activities. It has been widely applied in corporate finance courses in higher education. Based on the educational institution
realities, this paper analyzes and evaluates the application of case-based teaching in the corporate finance course, discusses the main problems
existing in it and proposes corresponding improvement measures, aiming to promote the better integration of case-based teaching into the
corporate finance course, improve teaching quality, cultivate applied talents who can apply their knowledge to solve real-world problems and
have innovative spirit, and equally provide actionable implementation blueprints for other sister universities to carry out related work.
