Hainan Free Trade Port construction has promoted the high-performance development of the healthcare industry. Nursing professionals are the important supporting force in the health service system, and to a certain extent, they partially impact the service capacity of
public health systems, transformation and upgrading of wellness industries, and the quality of cross-border medical services within the Free
Trade Port. This study analyzes and studies the difficulties and obstacles in the Nursing talent cultivation based on the development of the
healthcare industry in Hainan Free Trade Port, explores a Nursing talent cultivation model that aligns with the development of the Free Trade
Port from five aspects: cultivation objective setting, curriculum architecture construction, practice teaching reform, faculty development, and
collaborative education mechanism establishment, aiming to provide reference and insights for cultivating versatile Nursing talents with professional competence, global vision, and region-specific adaptability, and catalyze the high-performance and rapid development of the health
industry in Hainan Free Trade Port.
