Prevention and Nutritional Management of Common Sports Injuries among College Students

Jinlan Wang

Abstract

With the popularization of the concept of national fitness, the enthusiasm of college students for physical exercise is increasing day
by day. However, due to factors such as unstandardized exercise habits, weak self-protection awareness, and unreasonable nutrition combination, the incidence of sports injuries remains high. This not only affects the normal study and life of college students but also may leave longterm health risks. The common sports injuries among college students mainly include sprains, strains, contusions, fractures, and joint strain,
and their occurrence is closely related to insufficient preparation before exercise, improper operation during exercise, insufficient recovery
after exercise, and lack of nutritional support. This article, based on the characteristics of college students' sports and common injury types,
proposes specific measures for preventing sports injuries and nutritional regulation, to help college students develop healthy exercise habits
and improve physical fitness.
