The excellent traditional Chinese culture possesses significant functions in ideological and political education. Integrating it into
the teaching of ideological and political courses in universities is of great significance in promoting the core socialist values, strengthening
the confidence in Chinese socialist culture, cultivating the comprehensive qualities of college students, and improving the teaching effect of
ideological and political theory courses. Currently, there are still many difficulties in integrating excellent traditional Chinese culture into
ideological and political courses in universities in terms of classroom education, college students' cognition and interest, and campus culture
construction. Therefore, universities can only promote the integration of excellent traditional Chinese culture into the main channel of classroom education, encourage students to actively learn excellent traditional Chinese culture, and create a strong campus atmosphere for promoting excellent traditional Chinese culture, so as to promote the integration of excellent traditional Chinese culture into the minds and hearts of
